Physical Therapy



Our physical therapists evaluate, treat, and help prevent illness and injury resulting from orthopedic, neurological or developmental causes.  They work with people of all ages, using education and exercise to promote wellness, restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.  Our physical therapy team will evaluate musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions and treat patients across the continuum of care including, but not limited to:

•    Sprains and strains
•    Back, Neck and joint pain
•    Open wounds or burns
•    Gait disturbance
•    Poor posture and scoliosis
•    Arthritis pain
•    Fibromyalgia
•    Vestibular/balance rehabilitation
•    Decreased strength
•    Range-of-motion deficits
•    Orthopedic injuries/surgeries
•    Recovery from fracture or joint replacement
•    Stroke and neurological conditions

Located on the campus of Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama and provides a wide range of both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services.
